Product Overview: The ECU Mobile Platform enables individuals who are making multiple wall or ceiling based penetrations to work more efficiently and safely. When in use, it is built to allow ladders, tools and equipment to be left inside a deployed ECU unit for hassle free, quick and easy repositioning. A person can be confident working on an ECU Mobile Platform. The wheels lock tightly into place, and its safety lip and bracing contribute to a movement free environment for safe work and use of ladders. An ECU Mobile Platform with either an ECU or ECU2 is the total solution for contractors or facilities managers looking to get the job done quickly, easily and safely. |

Large area Containment or Isolation
ECU2 Bundle
This portable system of modular components provides an economical solution for the scalable containment of both small and larger spaces, such as wards, during construction and maintenance or for mass isolation of infections disease presenting patients during a pandemic.
Bundle components can be used separately or joined together to create a temporary 13 airlock/anteroom which, in combination with the Corridor Flange, uses the corridor as a separation point for the containment of much larger areas. A variable speed (V) HEPA-filtered negative air machine comes standard to meet CDC and JCAHO guidelines. This greater range of application comes at a lower price than individual component purchase.
The bundle includes; two ECU2s, a five foot Modular Connector Cuff and a 2000V Negative Air Machine. The ECU2 has a 30% larger footprint than previous models to allow for use of an 8 foot ladder. Combined ceiling cavity and wall access points with modular design provides maximum functionality and flexibility for multiple containment applications. Components easily collapse for transport and require minimal storage space.
ECU products have been clinically tested by hospital environmental specialists to ensure safe and effective use in a healthcare setting. Bundle components are available for individual purchase. The Corridor Flange is sold separately.

Corridor Flange
The Corridor Flange allows any point in a corridor to be used as a separation point when attached to a modular ECU2 for the containment of much larger areas such as a ward.
With extendable dimensions of up to 120" wide and 144" high it can easily secure a hallway, oversized doors and other large openings. The Corridor Flange can be used alone for dust containment, with a single ECU2 for creating a small anteroom for use during construction or with the ECU2 Bundle for a large anteroom suitable for mass isolation.
Negative Air Machines
MF2 - 600V - 1000V - 2000V
These HEPA filtered Negative Air Machines (NAMs) provide 99.97% efficient air quality protection down to 3 microns. Built for durability and convenience all units are variable speed up to 425, 600, 1000 and 2000 cfm respectively. Easily accessible gauges make it simple to check performance and schedule filter replacement. In addition to the standard dual stage poly pre-filter, carbon and other filter stages can be added as needed.
MI 1600V
The Mintie Ico 1600V is a HEPA filtered Negative Air Machine providing the highest quality air quality protection. The variable speed unit provides 200 to 1600 CFM and can be used with an IcoRoom or for freestanding filtration. The individually checked HEPA filters are 99.99% effective, 300 fold more efficient than standard HEPAs. Two optional J-shaped UVGI lamps also provide additional sterilization. High capacity carbon filters are also available.
PureAir Blaster

The PureAir Blaster is a revolution in Negative Air Machine design. This new lightweight unit incorporates variable speed, stackability, convenience outlets for daisy chaining and increased filter variety for outstanding performance and versatility.
Impeller motor provides quite and smooth variable speed operation (200-600cfm) with reduced weight, making the unit powerful and compact. Units can be stacked three high and four to five units can be daisy chained together making it easy to add additional units to meet higher CFM requirements or plug in additional tools. High density polyethylene plastic has UL 98HD flammability rating with UV inhibitor for durable in and outdoor use. Polyethylene surface also does not support bacterial growth and is easy to clean for safe and easy maintenance. Pre-filter compartment is 3.5" deep allowing for a variety of pre-filters including dual density poly pad (standard) and carbon (special order). Unit can use either HEPA (99.97% effective) or Geo95 (95% effective) final filters to meet filtration requirements of different projects economically. FINAL FILTER NOT INCLUDED - MUST BE ORDERED SEPARATELY
HEPA filters are 99.97% efficient at capturing particles down to 3 microns for the safest possible, often mandatory, filtration of potentially contaminated air in occupied healthcare and other sensitive environments. Geo95 filters provide 95% efficient filtration at a lower cost and longer filter life for less critical environments still requiring high quality filtration. The filter combo gives users working in multiple types of environments the ability to switch between final filters, maximizing filter life and decreasing operational costs while maintaining the ability to meet the highest safety requirements. Inexpensive pre-filters (MERV 8) are used to remove the largest particles before air goes through the final filter, extending final filter life.
The PureAir Blaster is for airborne contaminant filtration during construction, renovation or maintenance in occupied spaces or during abatement. It is often used in conjunction with a containment unit such as the ECU Ceiling Cavity (CC).
