Cleanroom Shoe Brush Cleaners by Liberty Industries

Many factories and research facilities use cleanrooms to work with sensitive materials in a cleanroom  and contaminant-free environment. In these settings, it’s essential for personnel to adhere to strict cleanliness standards to maintain the cleanroom’s integrity.

One of the most effective ways to keep cleanrooms intact is to install shoe brush cleaners outside the room. Shoe brush cleaners employ hard bristles to scrub dirt and debris from employee footwear before entering a cleanroom. https://www.liberty-ind.com/literature

Most shoe brush cleaners resemble golf shoe cleaners, incorporating an indent so that workers can clean their shoes from three sides or hermetically sealing the shoe during cleaning.

Benefits and Custom Features of Shoe Brush Machines

Installing a shoe brush machine can reduce the time spent on cleaning personal attire by more than 85%. These machines keep workers safe from contamination and come with self-contained disposable bags to properly get rid of debris. Shoe brush cleaners can also be fitted with HEPA filtration systems for extra protection, and their customizable design capacities eliminate the risk of cross-contamination in a number of environments.

Shoe Brush Cleaners

Liberty Industries offers three types of shoe brush cleaners:

Shoe Brush 2010SC

This heavy-duty shoe and sole cleaner features a HEPA filter exhaust system operating at 99.99% efficiency. Working as a fully self-contained system, the 2010SC drives brushes using a timing belt between the gear motor and bottom brush assembly. It includes a totally enclosed fan-cooled gear motor and a round belt drive for the top brush, which supplements an additional three motor-driven brushes. The top brush also is fully weight-loaded, providing a floating system that allows gravity to factor into the cleaning process.

The brushes are mounted on a stainless-steel weight plate, and the system also includes a full range of customizable adjustment options for the time belt. The machine’s user interface alerts you to dirty HEPA filters, and you can easily empty and replace the dust drawer, contamination bag, and used filters. The 2010SC’s water-resistant design also operates quietly, achieving volumes of 55 dba or lower even when the blower, vacuum, and gear motor are all in use.

Additional features include:

  • 7’ power cord
  • 1/6 HP, 120 V/ 60 HZ
  • 18 ½” X 28” X 39”
  • Ships at 135 lbs

Shoe Brush 2001-TB

The 2001-TB operates as a fully automated shoe brush unit that features four motor-driven brushes to clean the sides, top, and bottom of all types of footwear. The brushes on this system operate via transmission drives, which afford maximum efficiency while operating within a relatively straightforward setup. The 2001-TB also uses an enclosed, fan-cooled motor to prevent overheating, and its cast-iron base provides a sturdy foundation for use in a wide range of environments.

While the 2001-TB ships at 158 lbs, its final assembly weight clocks in at 132 lbs. It employs a single-phase motor that operates at 1/6 HP and 120 V/60 HZ. Some additional specs include:
