Motorized HEPA/ULPA Filtered Pass-Thrus
For environments requiring the highest level of sterility, our Motorized HEPA/ULPA Filtered units provide an active "air wash" system.
- 99.99% Filtration: High-velocity air is circulated through high-efficiency filters to scrub particulates from items during the transfer process.
- Advanced Airflow: Rated Class 100 (ISO 5) with 100 FPM, and can remove particles down to 0.3 microns. Available in both recirculating and non-recirculating models to maintain your specific room pressure requirements.
- Class 100 (ISO 5) Compatible: Ideal for the most sensitive manufacturing processes. Also available with ULPA (99.999%) or PTFE (99.9999%) filtration.
Laminar Flow Equipment for Cleanrooms
Laminar flow equipment combines high-efficiency HEPA/ULPA filtration with furniture (hoods, benches, consoles, etc.) to remove particles and contaminants from workstations. The laminar flow continuously sweeps particles away from sensitive work areas, ensuring ISO compliance within your controlled environment. All our products are Made in the USA.
Configuration Options: Vertical vs. Horizontal Laminar Flow
The first decision in selecting equipment is determining the direction of airflow. Both configurations provide Class 100 (ISO 5) or better air quality, but they serve different operational needs.
-
Vertical Laminar Flow (VLF): HEPA filters are located above the work surface, blowing air downward.
- Best For: Applications involving large equipment or tall items that would block horizontal air. VLF mimics the airflow of a full-scale cleanroom and is less likely to blow contaminants or fumes directly at the operator’s face.
- Key Advantage: Gravity works with the airflow to move particles toward the floor or exhaust vents.
-
Horizontal Laminar Flow (HLF): HEPA filters are located at the back of the unit, blowing air forward across the work surface toward the operator.
- Best For: Working with small, delicate items placed directly on the bench. Because there is no "hand-over-product" interference from above, HLF offers the "cleanest" air at the most critical point of contact.
- Key Advantage: Minimal turbulence on the work surface and easier access for overhead clearance.
Equipment Types: Hoods, Benches, Consoles, and Stations
Liberty Industries offers a variety of equipment fit with laminar flow filtration systems (and stand-alone filtration systems) to accommodate different facility layouts and process requirements:
Laminar Flow Hoods & Tabletop Units
Hoods can be compact, portable units designed to be placed on existing lab benches or work tables. They are the ideal solution for facilities with limited space or those needing to create a "clean zone" within a larger, unclassified room.
Laminar Flow Benches
Benches are fully integrated workstations where the airflow system and the work surface are a single unit. These are often built with heavy-duty frames and are available in stainless steel or laminated Novaply to meet specific chemical resistance requirements.
Floor-Standing Console Stations
Consoles are self-contained, floor-standing units. They offer a larger work envelope than tabletop hoods and often feature optional vibration-isolated work surfaces, making them perfect for microscopy or high-precision weighing.

Choosing Your Configuration: Hardwall vs. Softwall
The primary factor in cleanroom design is the wall structure, which dictates the level of environmental control and the permanence of the facility.
Hardwall Modular Cleanrooms
Hardwall cleanrooms offer the highest level of environmental control and are designed for long-term use.
Structural Integrity:
Constructed with solid, non-shedding wall panels (available in aluminum, vinyl-clad, or stainless steel) that can withstand high-pressure differentials.Environmental Control:
Ideal for facilities that require strict temperature and humidity management. The rigid walls prevent air leakage, ensuring your HVAC and HEPA systems operate at peak efficiency.Best For:
Semiconductor fabrication, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and medical device assembly.
Softwall Modular Cleanrooms
Softwall cleanrooms are the most cost-effective and flexible solution for creating a "Clean Zone" within an existing space.
Rapid Deployment:
Featuring a lightweight, bolt-together steel frame and heavy-duty PVC or non-outgassing curtains.Mobile & Scalable:
Most softwall units are equipped with casters, allowing you to move the clean zone as your production line evolves. They can be expanded or relocated with minimal downtime.Best For:
Packaging areas, plastic injection molding, and temporary laboratory expansions.

Cleanroom Air Showers
Even with strict gowning protocols, personnel are the primary source of contamination in a controlled environment. Air Showers provide a high-velocity, low-pressure "air wash" that effectively shears off surface particulates from garments before they can enter the cleanroom. These units maintain the pressure differential between classified and non-classified areas, significantly reducing the particle load on your HEPA filtration systems. All our products are Made in the USA.
Series AS-200 Air Showers (Standard & Custom)
The Series AS-200 (AS-200, AS-200E, and AS-200ESS) is our flagship model, offering a modular design that can be configured for single occupants or multi-person tunnels.
- 99.99% Efficiency: Air filtered through prefilters and HEPA filters to remove particles to 0.3 microns.
- Single Location Power Source: Air showers are built with a control panel plug-in system that only requires one power source, making for much easier installation.
- Customizations: Available in stainless steel, cold-rolled steel, and other custom design needs.
High-Capacity Cart Air Shower
Our Cart Air Shower is one of our lower-profile options, perfect for transporting materials in and out of a cleanroom. This air shower sits on the floor and is used to move carts in and out of cleanrooms. Someone in the cleanroom can wheel a cart on one side, close the door, and then the person outside of the cleanroom can open it on their end. We like to think of our cart air shower as an “oversized pass-thru.” If you have a lot of material you need to transfer in and out of a cleanroom (and can’t carry it by hand), this is a perfect option. This is also a good option for height-restricted cleanrooms. It is wide enough to fit a cart, but it's only eight feet tall (vs. normal air showers which are around 10 feet).
HVAS-2: Low-Profile Vertical Air Shower
HVAS-2 offers the same quality application and reliable operation as AS-200, but is ideal for height-restricted areas. Designed to fit into rooms with lower ceiling heights without sacrificing the filtration needed for effective particle removal. The blower system can be configured on the left or right side, optimizing space while maintaining performance (only 8 feet tall but requires additional width).
Air Shower Tunnels
For facilities with large shift changes, our air shower tunnels provide a continuous-flow solution for high-traffic applications. These units allow personnel to walk through without stopping, utilizing a series of high-output nozzles to clean multiple people simultaneously without causing a bottleneck at the entry point.

Cleanroom Tacky Mats®
Tacky Mats® prevent dirt and contaminants from entering cleanroom environments. These mats consist of an adhesive surface designed to pull impurities from the bottom of footwear. As the inventor of the Tacky Mat®, Liberty Industries sticky mats offer superior protection from dust, dirt, and lint entering cleanrooms. All our products are Made in the USA.
Our Specialized Tacky Mat® Offerings
The Original Tacky Mat® (800030 Series)
The 800030 Series is our most popular and economical solution. These mats feature 30 or 60 layers of tough polyethylene film coated with a non-drying adhesive.
- Easy Maintenance: Each sheet is numbered, allowing for easy tracking of usage. Once a sheet is soiled, simply peel it back to reveal a fresh, high-tack surface.
- Antimicrobial Protection: Every mat is treated with a germicidal agent to inhibit the growth of mold, mildew, and bacteria.
- Installation Options: Available with full-width adhesive backing for a permanent bond to the floor or with adhesive strips for temporary placement.
Tacky® Roll Mops & Specialty Tools
A different take on our Original Tacky Mat®, the Tacky® Roll Mop offers even more flexibility to cleaning contamination from your cleanroom. These hand-held roll mops are perfect for removing particulates from work counters, pass-thru windows, and other cleanroom surfaces. This is one of our most popular products!
Super Kleen™ Tacky Mat® (6000M10 Series)
The Super Kleen™ Tacky Mat® series is suitable for environments requiring a higher degree of particle removal. Its resilient foam allows the mat to conform to the irregular treads of a shoe, ensuring 100% contact and deeper cleaning than standard hard-surface mats. Comes with 10 disposable poly foam layers.
- Closed-Cell 1/16” Poly Laminate Sheets: The foam allows the mat to pick up more foot-borne contaminants as it can conform deeper to a shoe’s treads and grooves.
- Twice as Long Lasting: Due to its unique contouring and resilient foam properties. Each sheet has a ‘bounce-back’ memory so that maximum effectiveness is restored after each step.
Duratack® Washable & Permanent Sticky Mats
Designed for sustainability and long-term cost savings, the Duratack® is a high-performance, tack-regenerating mat.
- Sustainable: Instead of peeling and disposing of sheets, the Duratack can be reused as it is cleaned with the Duratack® cleaner and water.
- Heavy Duty: Ideal for high-traffic areas and heavy cart wheels (load resistance up to 1200 PSI) and removes 98-100% of all surface contamination.
- Easy Maintenance: The mat will retain all of its tackiness if properly cleaned, and the process is simple! Mop, rinse, squeegee, and let dry.
Cleanroom Shoe Brush Machines
There are many types of equipment that can help keep floors contaminant-free. While sticky mats capture surface-level dust, shoebrush machines are a great prior step to deep clean your shoes before the gowning room or cleanroom entry. Motorized shoebrush machines are designed to clean the treads and crevices of footwear using high-speed rotating brushes and powerful suction before personnel enters critical controlled environments. All our products are Made in the USA.
